Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your artisanal tile journey.
How do I calculate how much tile I need to order?
We recommend measuring your total square footage and adding a 15% wastage allowance for cuts, breakage, and future repairs. For complex patterns like herringbone, consider adding 20%.
What is the typical lead time for shipping?
In-stock tiles typically ship within 3 to 5 business days. For handcrafted or made-to-order collections, lead times can range from 8 to 16 weeks depending on the specific artisan kiln's schedule.
Do you offer samples before I commit to a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples. Because our tiles are artisanal and often handmade, natural variations in color, texture, and size are expected and part of their unique character.
Can I return unused tile from my project?
We accept returns on unopened full boxes of current stock within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Please note that custom orders and 'final sale' items are non-returnable.
Are your tiles suitable for outdoor use or pool linings?
Suitability varies by material. While many of our stone and porcelain tiles are frost-resistant, certain glazed ceramics and cement tiles may not be suitable for wet, freezing environments. Please check the 'Specifications' tab on each product page.
How should I handle delivery of my palletized order?
Large orders are shipped via LTL freight and delivered curbside. You must inspect the shipment for any visible damage before signing the BOL (Bill of Lading) and report discrepancies to us within 48 hours.
